AnonymousHey, thanks for the question. The short answer is no. The e-ink screen has no backlight or other feature to brighten that display. That’s one of the reasons it’s so great to read on and not develop eye strain. If you are having trouble or want to read at night, the best thing to do is purchase the <a href=”http://clickserve.cc-dt.com/link/click?lid=41000000031385448”>Lyra Light</a>. It will help tremendously, and keep from hurting your eyes.
